Cart-Maker's Profile

Big Sky Bob has been making gun carts since 1994, and as a full time enterprise since 1999! Bob has a diverse background. Graduating as an Industrial Arts Teacher in 1964, he specialized in wood shop and power mechanics, as well as other shops for tools materials and processes.

Having a burning desire to become an airplane pilot. He earned his flying license and became an air taxi pilot and flight instructor. The recession of the late 70's forced the airlines to furlough many pilots, forcing Bob to seek other employment. Bob furthered his education by receiving his masters in Aerospace. He worked for 10 years as an engineer for a large flight simulator firm. Retiring from engineering, Bob started a family business in custom woodworking, cabinetry, and professional kitchen design.

After 10 years, Bob retired form the family business, and his wife and 3 sons took over. This enabled Bob to devote his full time to shooting, traveling, and building gun carts. Bob and his wife Joan live in Annapolis, and part time in Red Lodge, Montana and Tucson, Arizona.
